She Waits Poem by Ally White

She Waits

Rating: 4.6

She waits there
Waiting for you
To change your mind
Just to care
And still she waits
She may as well take a number
For those who don't know when
To give up
She always waits
But you will never be back there
She holds onto a love long gone
Living in a naive hope
Loving you even though you don't deserve it
She keeps on waiting
For a day she will never see
And one day she may realise
She waited too long

A thing we're guilty of sometimes. It's very well expressed. Get your skates on Ali. Send us some more. I've read all three. Tongue hanging out for me! Tom Billsborough

Loving you even though you don't deserve it This is the love that we can do nothing when it happens, we just obey the heart. Well done, thank you for sharing
