Uncontainable Nature

leaves when touched by autumn
fades to color grey
none can stop them falling
no prayer would make them stay

you cannot seize the night dark
nor can conquer the glittering day
a skylark when forced to sing
goes swiftly away

We are little against Nature's rhythm. So much we can not change yet we may enjoy while it lasts. Lovely poem to enjoy. Also glad that you enjoyed one of my poem. Thank you so much. (Report) Reply

A wonderful poem. Beautiful flow of words, with matching rhythm. Great message it carries, many things are beyond our control, in fact nothing is in our control. Loved it. (Report) Reply

I like this beautifully penned poem, very much, dear Kanav. You have captured very artistically the things in nature over which a human being has no control. The poem flows so effortlessly in perfect rhythm and rhyme and is finely expressed. A thought provoking write, which I have so enjoyed reading. Thank you for sharing. I wish you a very blessed and beautiful day to enjoy! Blessings always... (Report) Reply

We cannot reverse the natural rhythm of life! Though somethings are within man's control, many a happening lies outside his grasp and command! A philosophical write, Kanav! ! (Report) Reply
