There Are Those
Who can light up a room
Without any light
Those who can make us laugh
Yet cannot laugh themselves
Those who beat our hearts like a drum
Unknowingly
Those who when sing, spread joy
Naturally, spiritually, Brilliantly
Those who cure the ill
Tirelessly
Those who feed the poor
Endlessly
Those dying
Unwillingly
Those wanting too
Desperately
Could we
Would we
Walk A Mile
In those shoes
There is you
There is me
There Are Those

Lyn Paul
Phenomenal work, brilliant. One of the best ever read, Like gold it flows, Touches the heart with words so deep, A poem never to forget, And in our memory to set. Excellent! !
Brilliant write Lyn people are so complex and each person has their own unique gift to bring to their world!
I like this poem a lot it's very clever without being too smart, a salubrious run of words to a finish
Ther are those who write such poems and honour the anonymous those of our lives.......................
A beautiful poem which bears the mark of universality.Loved reading very much.
I love this poem. I hope it will be a source of inspiration to the youth of the world. We can be those, at least on and off, if we truly want it Out children can be those, at least on and off, if they truly want it. Wonderful poem, so energizing
Those who feed the poor Endlessly.....very beautiful lines in this poem shine across from to last. Very nice composition definitely.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.

Well said Lyn - there are many unsung heroes around who receive little recognition.
