The Story Of A Bud Poem by Yasmin Khan

The Story Of A Bud

Rating: 4.9

A bud encased, in sepals wrapped
Beauty's sleep, fragrance trapped
Gently touched by zephyr's waft
Rays warmed her folded heart
Resplendence awakened into divine art
A lovely flower on the stalk tossed

Anon……

Petals after petals like tears, dropped
The bare flower sobbed
And the entire mead was all ear
As a cry was blurted in fear
‘Don’t come out, friends dear
Hark! Beauty, Bloom are ephemeral ‘
The call was yet subliminal

All her companions heard and smiled!
And the lea was full of blossoms wild!

Come dance with me
The wind whispered around in glee
‘Scent is your melody
I’ll carry it to eternity! '
