THE POET AND HIS BODY PARTS!

As a poet and a doctor of Homeopathy, I had
always felt,
That this body is not merely a living biological
entity,
Consisting of many specialized parts, -
all functioning in unison,
Along with the muffled beats of our heart!
In reality it is that human Mind, that abstract
entity,
Along with the highly specialized human brain,
Which co-ordinates the functions of the entire man;
And also gives him a distinct individual identity!
Some 200 hundred years ago, Dr Hahnemann, #
Instructed his pupils to observe an individual
patient and his mind,
Before trying to cure disease on any kind!
The Mind being the fountain head which gives
rise to physical malfunctions,
And a wholesome mind ensured body’s healthy
function!
A healthy mind in a healthy body as people say,
Is a dictum not to be taken lightly in any way!

Coming to the human soul, that magical, mystical
thing,
Which we cannot see but sometimes do feel!
Is our precious link with God the Supreme Being!
And with a healthy body, mind and soul, -
Man always appears to be in total control!

But the sensitive poet, who feels life’s pain and
suffering,
Perhaps more acutely than the rest, is always at
his best,
When he expresses himself in verse and rhyme;
To share his thoughts with the rest of mankind!
But when his soul finally leaves him one day,
You will hear people say, that only the other night
they had seen him,
Sitting and composing in front of his computer
screen!
Perhaps his heart had refused to co-operate and
decided to leave him! !

(.# Dr. Samuel Hahnemann(1775-1843) - the founder of Homeopathy,
always gave paramount importance to Mental Symptoms, thereby
individualizing each of his patient! Persons suffering form the same ‘disease’,
but exhibiting different mental symptoms, were given different medicines!)
