Summer Poem by Lawerence Mize, Sr.

Summer

Rating: 5.0

Hot summer sun
Crab cakes on a bun
A cooling breeze
To put you at ease

Birds soaring above
Couples in love
The shelter of shade
From a big oak tree

A ride on a bike
On a warm summer's night
Will make you sweaty
And feeling free

Steamed crabs and beer
Help bring us all near
Friends and family
All join in the fun

Ahh! Summer's the one
