Story Of Female Foeticide Poem by Kezia Kezia

Story Of Female Foeticide

Rating: 5.0

I too had a peripheral
Very small peripheral
Like everybody else
I too had various cheerful stories to tell
I too had beautiful dreams to fulfill
I too had urge to paint dull sky with jovial colorful patterns
I too had a voice to sing own melodies
I too had a wish to earn own esteem
I too had small heart with oceanful love
I too had opinions for furtherance of my clan's culture
But…
I too had limits set forth to control my flight
I too had chains to lock my soul
I had everything except
my share of air to breathe
I had everything except a chance to arise
Since I was murdered
before I was born
I had no life
I was FEMALE foetus
I could not see the world I imagined from
the smallest peripheral in Mother's womb
Yes I had everything except the fate to take
birth on great earth
