Self Reproach Poem by Venkateswaran Krishnan Sreenivasan

Self Reproach

Rating: 5.0

You will reap what you sow
Evil deeds will harvest woe
In word or deed don't stoop so low
Do not pursue quid pro quo

Labour hard with spade and hoe
Evil thoughts will generate row
Noble deeds will help you grow
In your march go steady and slow

In peace and calm, behave like a doe
For lasting comfort pleasures forgo

An insightful piece of poetry in verse with rhythmic splendour. Greal lines nicely put together. Thanks for sharing and do remain enriched.
