Remembrances Poem by Venkateswaran Krishnan Sreenivasan

Remembrances

Remember the sweetest events in life
And ignore the bitter ones to be safe
Life is riddled with hurdles rife
Forget these to dispel strife

I don't dwell on sordid episodes past
I delve into them by chance and get aghast
Sweetness vanishes sooner than spice
Bitter taste lingers long with stinging strife
