Safe Poem by Lilyann Monahan

Safe

Sir, all I need is for you to keep him safe.
Please Sir whatever you need to do, don't let him be unsafe.
Whatever power Sir or help you can do,
I have to say I love you, to my son.
He's been held a tough hand, remember you saying that,
But his glass is half full,
and I will keep it at a tomcat.
I won't ask you for another thing Sir,
If you would promise to watch over,
that boy I love God so much,
he is as lucky as a clover.
