Re-Written And Distributed Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Re-Written And Distributed

Buying every aspect of the government.
Purchased with many objecting,
How this can be done by one to do.
Who decides which policies fit.
And which to omit.
May sound impossible and ridiculous.
These days of craze and accepted madness.
However...
The impossible upon us,
Whether it to be realized or not.
Has arrived.

Now...
Taking a tour through reality.
A 'reality' the buyer,
Has chosen for all to view.
Decides not to follow or obey,
Rules and laws created to strip away.
That awes and shocks,
Without this travesty stopped.
Or an eyebrow witnessed raised.
As loyalists applaud these acts of craze.
Delusion to include is also praised.

And with this being done,
To appall the ones stunned.
Pretending these actions,
Are against their kept religious beliefs.
And calling themselves faithful 'Christians'.
Readers of scriptures.
Professing from them to follow and quote.
With obedience to claim on a daily basis.

However...
This is no different,
Than the doings of King James.
Having his own version of the Bible created.
Re-written and distributed.
With his name on it.
To dare to hear from anyone.
Far or near.
How his actions to take had been,
Inappropriate and inexcusable to offend...
Those disbelieving him not to be,
Not only king.
But also 'The Chosen One' God picked,
To rule the World.

"What is all the commotion about?
Is it because I have the 'vision'?
And my brilliance shines,
Brighter than the Sun has ever done? "
