Pygmalion Poem by Dillon McKenna

Pygmalion

Rating: 5.0

Pygmalion! Ye of unsurpassed talent,
That spawned a figure of such perfect form
It caused your yearning heart to lament,
And wish that it were woman-born.

Prayers heard high on Olympus,
From marble case a queen rent,
Answered by the Paphian goddess,
From her your bride was sent.
