You're the sun that's shining
Bright as can be
Making silhouettes
Helping define my wings

You're smile lights a way
Makes it so very easy
For me to follow
My bliss and ecstasy

Which I create
Through my thoughts of love
T'wards the universe
Can not get enough

So we share what we've got
Without a single cost
Helping guide each other
So we can't get lost

I'll work steady to be
The same for you
Diligently step by step
I'll see my promises through

To every single end
Some may be bittersweet
When the miles seem outstretched
I'll be cloth... on the souls of your feet

I'll protect you til death
Be a shoulder for your tears
I'll chase away any monsters
You might seem to fear

I know you'll be too
The exact same to me
The promise lies in your eyes
I clearly can see

We're kindred spirits
Existential twin flames
Soul mates, intertwined
Spirits reflecting the same

Not like a life partner
That's so very far
No one can see, invisibility
Or what we truly are

They like to define
And slap labels that we
Man and woman deep in love
Without passion though can't be

As close as we are
With no sexual bonds
Just akin... No naked skin
Only close like moon and stars

Twinkling, talking
A language so different
They can't understand
But whatever... Just best friend
