'Bondage' Poem by NiQi Deveaux

'Bondage'

Rating: 5.0

Entranced in dream
And magical things
Then to be human experiencing
Tragedy and pain

Once beaten and wrestled
Right down to your knees
Making you beg, for just some,
Crying out please

It's a trick and a scheme,
Your infinite and grand
Just in a nightmare it seems,
It's so hard to stand

You were made to be happy,
To float lazily downstream
Led perfectly, divinely,
Knowing you're free

So free you can choose
Shackles, bondage and chains
Or you could learn how to dance
When it's pouring down rain.

'Or you could learn how to dance When it's pouring down rain.' Yes that's me, dancing in the rain, is an trilling option.
