It's not new life, but continuation
Springing from the earth

Today I went for a walk in the pouring rain
That it would fall on my face and hide all my pain
That my tears would mingle and find a way to be lost
2angels has fallen, we will find out the cost

Oh this critic, speaks so loud in my ear
Though my heart speaks so loud it's sometimes so hard to hear

Through the static and noise this critic likes to doubt

Are you blue or yellow?
Red, green or white.
Would you bear arms gainst my demons?
Long into the night?
...

Entranced in dream
And magical things
Then to be human experiencing
Tragedy and pain
...

As the sun falls upon the tree tops
So beautifully it sets
All the words I could have said
But still I've no regrets
...

Excitement turned to a stinging of every breath
Life passing me by with each heave of my chest
So much to be done, so much to be said
Weighing heavy like mud inside of my head
...

I want to be your compass
When rolling through rough seas
Feeling like your being bashed
Over rocks, brought by the breeze

I'm patiently awaiting
For those words to fall upon
My ears perked, so tensely listening
For your mind to hear the call
