Never Comes True.. Poem by Neela Nath Das

Never Comes True..

Rating: 5.0

The night in slumber,
lies beside me.
I grope but can't find
the desired you!
My reluctant body, soul
take recluse in a shell of crab.
It shrinks to be pasted
on another wall.
The hackneyed days
passed in love
and the old attire,
stop the noise in me.
The window gives way
to get in, to bathe
my awaken bed under moonlight.
But, all are meaningless,
as life to inevitable death,
as to live the thrown-away
life in delight(before all) !
Silence! Silence! Silence!
In my every step, it tells
the story of my confinement.
They don't know in captivity
winged I sojourn for another
world, where she awaits me....
A new shower, fresh journey, a new tale
will plot a new epic,
an epic of eternal love.
No wars, no worries, no profit, no loss.
Where my soul doesn't protest
to spend sleepless night,
that Utopia grows like a
shaded avenue.
Everyday there fall leaves
the leaves of trees,
red, orange and yellow..
Endless road,
me and you....
Just a dream,
never comes true!
