Neecho =) Poem by gabriella mendoza

Neecho =)

How do you suppose our hearts would beat,
If we convinced ourselves that our fates linked?
Our moon would cover itself in shadows.
Instead of falling apart into stars once shot.
My soul would thrive on logic, and think three beats ahead.
As opposed to lingering on beats set in reverse.

You are me.
I, my ghost.
You keep me sane,
I delude myself into insanity.

My sense of reality
Drips from your words.

I'm trying to piece myself together
[for you].
The work is messy,
But maybe this time it can be done.
