My Shadow Leaves Me Alone
When I need light
The wind blows the lamp out
Every one leaves me
When I need them most
In my ups and down
I get along with me
Only my shadow
On a test I put him
And light a cigar in my mouth
he is still with me
and imitates all my activities
without any mistake
it draws the ring
even the smoke
perfectly
but alas!
he fails to show
the fire
the reflection of the mind
he fails to brush
the pain of my soul
he runs his lips
and sings the songs of sorrow
but alas!
where is the sound?
in the valley of silence
I am misunderstood and bitterly alone
The like-mindedness of people in the present world scenario are based on conditions.Thats the reason the shadow leaves you alone.Sometimes people do get a soulmate though not always in life.A very inquisitive write Sir, first of its form.
Alas you couched the loneliness and it's every touchy OOOOOOOOh! ! !

i read somewhere: Expect the unexpected...and expect nothing even from your shadow...the plight in the poem is not because of shadow's leaving you....but your reliance on it....the poem is giving a feeling...! ! ! ! !
