She told him to read the newspaper
Son did but warned her of all murder

This is no joke! It is a harsh reality! Now a days the news paper has nothing life giving to offer, but sensational and hyped news of rape, molestation, murder, political anarchy and unbelievable stories of corruption and betrayal! The older generation finds it a punishment to read newspapers! Well put!

Yes. Why newspapers alone? So also are now-a-days' TV channel discussions. Well written Limerick.10+
