Life's Light And Shadow
A great painting
Has no meaning
Without some light
And defining shadow.
So is this life
Highlighted in detail
By happy spots bright
And the agony filled dark.
Let one not dominate (the other)
A simple and clear balance
Makes it all interesting
Life turns out worth living.
Human life is one of light and shade! A healthy blend of both makes life interesting! Too much of any thing is not healthy. But can we fix the proportion? The poem is made beautiful with an apt comparison!
Beautiful poem. Meaningful message delivered through this poem. Very true said, everything should be well balanced, whether be in painting or in our life, nothing should dominate. Really it make our life worthwhile living.
