Schools are closed
Children are inside homes
Rolling on the floor with pets
And playing games to
Remain safe from heat
Summer sun is fierce
Fire falls from the sky and
Trees and streams are in tears
The cuckoos go on
Releasing its melodious tunes
Sitting in the shade of branches
Sitting under a tree
The shepherd keeps eyes
On the scattered cattle
Grazing lazily warding off
Annoying flies with their tails
The wind feels the heat
And tarries over the valley
Perspiring and feeling choked
As it tries to hum a song
Summer heat is good for some crops and fruit and bad for others like humans, birds and animals. Nature squares everything in its own ways.
Good lines: The wind feels the heat And tarries over the valley Perspiring and feeling choked As it tries to hum a song
