In A Sacred Place Poem by Aftab Alam

In A Sacred Place

Rating: 5.0

At that time when cloud busted
Took everything; your life, my happiness,
Learnt only one thing, the love and care
And an everlasting memories of trust.

I know, that the cruel claw of death
Took you there, to be earth,
On the grave, there she laid asleep,
Un- attended, un –cared,
In the world of silence,
I stood here with Aghaz Praying for you

We will be together when resurrected (Amen)

Finding consolation at the thought that in the other world you will be reunited with her! Even though her corporal form has been taken away from you, her memories remain. A moving write Aftab!
