‘o' My Almighty Poem by Aftab Alam

‘o' My Almighty

Rating: 4.7

Is it tears of the night?
Or pearls of the day!
Is it woes of the star?
Or dancing feathers gay!
Is it Lord's holy earth?
Or Devils dropping bay!
Is it freedom palsied gift?
Or trapping rosaries say!
I am puzzled with thy puzzles,
Gone mad with the 'dyeing day',
Either snatch out my freedom:
Or make me a slave to pay.
I prithee- ‘O' My Almighty!
Listen carefully -what I say..

Tear of the night and pearls of the day unite and sing hymn for God. Devil is dropped and God's Earth is protected. We should carefully listen to God. He tells us important things. An excellent poem is beautifully penned.10
