It has been seventeen years now, Mom
Since the day you said good-bye
It was so hard to see you go
All I wanted to do was cry.
I wish that I could tell you now
How much you are still a part
Of my everyday life, oh yes
So much that it is hard to start.
Hanging clothes on the line most of all
For into my thoughts you appear
You taught me just how to do it
It seems as though you are here.
Everything must go on the line just so
And I take the time to make sure
I passed the rules down to Trina
I'm sure some of the rules still endure.
I miss all those chats we had as well
And lunches on Sunday too
But most of all I want to say
Happy Mother's Day, Mom, I sure miss you!
A very nice tribute. She was a good-looking Lady if that's her in your photo. Is that you on her knee? We remember them in simple tasks handed down. Tom Billsborough

It is indeed a moment to remember your mother and be grateful for all the selfless love, care and guidance she provided since your birth onward. She was really an ideal mother. Thanks.
