Dear Jasbir, Your subjects are universal and connect with most of us. well done. May I suggest, however, that you refrain from your use of cliché, or well-used phrases that may not have achieved the status of 'cliché.' Find the original 'Jasbir-expression' that is memorable. I'm sure you read lots of poetry, but read more. You will never find the worn, tired expressions in good poetry.

Also, use poetry can be used as inspiration to think better of others (and the world if not to get too lofty here) . Your comment about someone fiddling with the poll numbers is disappointing.

Hi, my name is Michelle and when I was a teenager I used to write poems. But as I got older I stopped doing it. Now, when I try to write something I have nothing. Anyways, I was reading your poem a cloud of rain. It hit home with me. So, I wanted to say thank you for sharing your poems and I can't wait to read more.
