Hurts Me So Much

Rating: 4.0

Are you happy now?
The things you have done to me
For the tears I shed
Happy, for making me bleed

I thought the day we met
You were the one, I was seeking for
Now, I repent for my idiocy
I was a game for you

I was fooled by you
Still can't believe, I was blind
Blinded by the power of your love
Even though you ditch me, I still can not believe

I still want you
I just want to be healed by you
But no, when I remember the past
I remember the game you played

How can you do this to me?
I thought you wanted me like I do
In the past memories I liked and praise you
But now, I am standing here, cursing you

When I remember you, My heart starts bleeding
I know we can not be together
But, I still picture the time we spent
Hearing your voice in the my head
It Hurts me so much

Hello poet Piumi, you have described what many have gone through in their quest for love and intimacy, I enjoyed. I just posted my poem An Old Soldier along with the musical recitation. If you have time, please check it out and let me know your thoughts. Thanks, Loyd

You said right, 'People leave but scar on heart can't ever be cured' I believe that everyone is selfish in today's world.. Hira

Lost love, surely has to be painful. Pain is frothing out of the words you used. Like other poems of yours, this too has a sharp, powerful and piercing message. I like it. X

Ouch! A painful poem! But Loyd Taylor is right: you are better off without him. Here's wishing you true love and happiness in the future.

The poem expresses the feeling against the other half I think and expressions are beautifully written in this poem.Only imaginations of thoughts I think.

Good morning poet Piumi. I enjoyed your poem, but I think you are better off without him, don't ever allow a person to have such control. I enjoyed, Thank you for reading, reviewing and commenting on my poem. Loyd
