Had Cell Phone Been Poem by Neela Nath Das

Had Cell Phone Been

Rating: 5.0

Had cell phone been,
In Shakespeare's age;
Would there have been,
Deaths in tragedy's page?
If Romeo and Juliet had,
Their personal hand set,
They could have talked,
And never been so upset!
Juliet must have given,
Romeo, missed call, on and on,
Romeo, ringing her back,
Would not drink the vial of poison.
It might not turn into a tragedy.
Rather we could tell it tragi-comedy!

Literature is sometimes the luxury of an idle mind. It creeps on the titanic trunk of a world envisaged.Had our world turned upside down, there would have been many more disasters.I feel worried about the disastrous on march of Science and am really confused about the need for a glory of the kind.This poem is good only for Nilakshi`s break from the other types..
