For: She Who Weakened Poem by Professor Plum

For: She Who Weakened

Rating: 4.7

i poured a poesy
from a jar in a field

full of two-petaled
flowers that were

not mechanical
boxes filled with

churning lubricant,
but she

had on a dead
man's shirt.

the sun was just
coming up, and

our shoes were
covered with dew.

I remember purple
plaid blankets

and her beaming.

It does have a beautiful imagery when we really imagine what you tried to say here, poetic expression to me_Soul

was she beaming you OR her? ? UP or DOWN? i have some dead man's shirts in my closet; my brother-in-law's. but i got them BEFORE he died, and........NO...........he did NOT die of 'exposure', though he was well-known for exposing himself. to MyPoemList, just for the heck of it, ....and more. bri ;)

A smooth sentimental in the best Iaiah Berlin sense - makes one want to say ah and yet one knows these episodes. Cool

Highly imaginative piece of poetry. The last sentence l remember purple blankets and her beaming is very romantic and I love it so much. Lovely poem. Thanks for sharing.
