Flying Heart
This morning i gave my heart to the sky.
It flew, it floated enormously high
To the clouds and way above.
When it came back to me,
It was filled to its brim with love
And wrapped in colourful beauty.
Then i gave my heart to a tall casuarina tree.
Oh, i cherish how the branches cuddled me.
They filled my heart with sweet tenderness.
A wave of love and gratefulness
Soaked my being through and through
And now i give my heart to you.
Wow a superb charming poem imaginatively expressed, I'm what they call a tree hugger yeahh and bird lover too so it seemed you were talking of birds and a tree then to a love. Kudos. Plz Pleez do comment my newest poem too titled, ' pink mania inking'
