I'm glad that God rested to end His strenuous week,
for if, instead, He had farted I'm sure the Earth would creak....,
and not just a little creak but a GREAT BIG CREAK,
so much in fact it would rock the oceans and scare the meek.
Why it may have even broken the Earth, all told.
It may have heated the moon and made the sun cold.
Come to think of it, now that God is NOT so close by,
perhaps His distant farts JUST cause the thunder in the sky.
Yes! I've heard some people speak of rain as His tears,
and though many of you Christians will greet me with jeers,
I'd hazard to guess that the manna, of which the Bible does tell,
was dried skin flakes (dandruff) which from His scalp once fell.
OK! I know I'm damned to Hell for this, my sacrilegious ranting,
but, please, oh please, God, don't (on my daughter) sin be planting.
For Brian Johnston is my (one, at least) most dear PH friend,
and it was because of HIS evil influences that I've met this bitter end.

Funny and entertaining! Reminded me couple of very ancient Vedic verses of some what same imagination.
Well, poetically interesting and entertaining but quite.misleading. Is the poet saying that, this fatal mockery which he is making of a Being who later apologizes to, is as a result of bad influences from a friend? Who among us noble hunters, would make a contemptious joke about a Judge whose Supremacy and rulings are well known to us? At least, from law, I know that Ignorance of the law is no excuse. Haaaa But needless to mention, your theory sounds interesting and more convincing when the reader equates your 'God' to Darwin's atom or perhaps Spinoza's God not God as in the Christian conception, because we know that atoms emit energy when they crack...whatever they say....so perhaps, the atom farts! Funny piece..haaaaaaa...
How rudely entertaining and funny. Not sure about God the Father, but I'm pretty sure Jesus was quite capable of all bodily functions. Darla :)
