Before It's Too Late Poem by Kathryn Kubacki

Before It's Too Late

Rating: 5.0

Tender heart
Thoughtful eyes
Broken glass
Man storms out

Slamming door
Girl crumples down
Tears stream
Muffled sobs

Rock flies
Window shatters
Many sorries
Let back in

All the days
Never fails
Ultimate injustice
No logic, only fear

Blackened bruise
Bloody bat
Shudder in the corner
Cover your ears

Look away
Apologize
Cover up
Back into life

Down the stairs
In the shower
Lies pile up
Until she can speak no more

Kathryn, this is a well written, touching poem. Raw pain flowing fast, whispering silent sigh between the lines. Thank you for share.
