The End Poem by Kathryn Kubacki

The End

A long journey
A dimly lit road
A couple stumbles
Get back up

Motivation grows
Continue to go
Down the dimly lit road
Don't turn and go home

Despite the trouble
The cobble, the rubble
We continue the trek
To a journeys end

As you push through the branches
Peek through the leaves
It seems magnificent
What should lead?

Nothing but dirt
A handful of clay
Beauty! Glory! You will have bade
But nothing is greater than the memories made

One kiss good luck
One hug goodbye
But adventures not over
You just have to try

Seemingly endless
Until it must end
Though this story finished
Another ready to begin
