No more laughter
No more tears
No more crying
No more cheers

Stop with sadness
Stop with hope
Stop with hatred
Never gloat

A fearful world
Unforgiving, cruel
Nothing can prepare
You learned nothing in school

Guarded by promise
Lies and deceit
When you grow up
The real world you will meet

Step away from the walls
They protect you no more
From the bloodshed, cold
Endless gore

Sooner you accept it
The safer you'll be
The world is cruel
Full of misery
