And Softly Silence Speaks.....


When love flows between two yearning hearts,
Gods and angels listen,
As softly silence speaks,
And softly silence speaks.....

When the loving couple walk hand in hand,
Along the banks of a flowing river,
Even the lapping sound slowly ceases,
And softly silence speaks.....

When the loving duo sit in the dark woods,
The nocturnal birds and animals listen,
Their whispers travel miles away,
As softly silence speaks.....

When the lovers take a moonlight stroll,
And divulge their secrets to attentive ears,
Even the crickets stop their evening songs,
And softly silence speaks.....

    And that silent voice is so very sharp
    that can be listened by even a deaf
    Cause that silent voice speaks a lot

    Often the silence speaks loudest of all. I have come to be quite a friend to the silence. It is there I can hear the beating of my own heart, undisturbed by outside influences...what a wonderful depiction of silence shared. Too many people get swept up in the myriad of noise, that is everyday chatter...to get lost, if only momentarily, in the sweet symphony that is silence...cathartic. PEACE. (Report) Reply
