When tree tops shine
In the first light of the day
In the cool breeze of the morn
The lanky fronds gently sway

To win away my tender
Heart there is no one around
With a hug to wish good day
No one can be found

No one is there to share
Ones feeling of love or pain
Or talk about coming winter
And dark clouds pretending rain

I am alone wandering
Across field, dale and plain
With no one there to be loved
I will for sure someday go insane
