A Picture of My Soul Poem by Ekaterina Polischuk

A picture of my soul is inside,
It has a lot of colors, melody.
Sometimes I am too happy or just tired,
I write by heart the love and tragedy.

A picture of my soul is the light,
I always search it in my sleepy thought.
It is so mild, eternal, sometimes tight,
I walk the road Holy Angels taught.

I sleep in dreams about happy choice
And go through time with spirit in my mind.
My poetry is just a silent voice,
I hope you could the truth in lines find.

This is truly a great poem, Ekaterina. The soul, with all its colours and yet soft its light. You picture the soul in all its aspects and all its grandeur. It is quiet, yet if we want to tune in to it, it is always ready toguide us to the greatest of heights. Excellent thought provoking poem (Report) Reply

''A picture of my soul is the light, '' what a line! double paradoxical, two paradoxes make a beautiful sense which molded in a poem to make it an exquisite piece of poetry. (Report) Reply
