A Drop Of Rain Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

A Drop Of Rain

Rating: 5.0

I hold in my palm
And peep inside the sphere
From the sparkling surface
To deep into its middle
It is pure and clear

I shake my palm
A little and it rolls
And rolls like a bead of pearl
I feel its coolness
Runs throughout my frame
And take care to save it from a fall

I can’t stay here long
For much work is waiting
Sorry, this game should be finished
I turn my hand
Upside down; the drop
Falls flat and in an instant got vanished

So for a brief moment you were mesmerized by a drop of rain. What a lovely thought. Very nice poem.

Very nice. Could actually see the raindrop in my own hand and playing with it. Not wanting to let it go, yet it vanished the same as yours did. Good poem, could relate totally to it. Keep writing. RoseAnn

The simple things in life. Funny, we cannot even enjoy them. Funny you found delight in something so simple as a drop of water. And that is why I clearly enjoy this poem ;-)
