A Different Kind Of Virus Poem by Khairul Ahsan

A Different Kind Of Virus

Rating: 5.0

She wore a fancy mask,
He too.
She looked at him at askance,
He too.
Their masks covered their mouth, nose and chin
And gave them protection of sorts against Covid-19.

But alas! With a few exchanges of looks,
The poor guy got attacked
With a different kind of virus.
Rays emitted by the stars of her eyes
Were not defendable by the Covid mask.
The guy was shot down by those amorous rays!

Thank goodness this poem is from this month, giving us hope that you have not given up on PH. I think many have i don't 'blame them'; i've only recently seen improvement after the near-devastation of this site. : (
