but what to rhyme, I don't know
What may come out is a product
of nonsense like blah and smuck

friendship comes and friendship goes
like the washing away of sand by the sea
like the strong wind blows
and the way birds fly and flea

Anger, hate and greed consumes this world
A pointless plight for something more
the reasons for this constant conflict are untold
politicians only wish to play and settles the score
...

Walking away seemed so hard before
no turning around, not anymore
what has been done is over and fin
i was wrong about everything
...

As time slipped by and gone, all compassion went away
replaced by anger, hate, disappointment and dismay
It was fine for a while, till the real truth began to dawn on me
Your reasons weren't evil, you aren't who i thought you to be
...

All feeling has drained, all emotions have been suppressed
All the hate, anger, and pain drifted away, unexpressed
Numbness has taken over, the mind has lost complete control
It just sees what it wishes to see, it's no lookout, no patrol
...

Withering trees that are soon to grow old and die
raindrops that have wept too long and have become dry
and the eerie voices that have yelled for far too long
and feelings that have succumbed and become unstrung
...

I waited, waited for quite some time, till you got ready to go.
You stole my heart and walked away. All the while, you knew, you know
I hoped that you would come back and say that you felt the same
I waited, waited for quite some time, till this would stop, this game.

If only words were just enough to let out all thoughts
If only the English language held more for me to express
But the mind has been infested, gone cold and all numb
The dull mind has passed perplexities, and it’s becoming dumb

The window is wet with dew and tears
the leaves have fallen down and died
the wind is malicious, cruel and mean
I ask myself, where are all those fears
