No Looking Back Poem by Unnamed Weirdo

No Looking Back

Rating: 5.0

Walking away seemed so hard before
no turning around, not anymore
what has been done is over and fin
i was wrong about everything
I thought I had it all figured
but I've been disappointed

I wish I knew better and pointed
to know not to be disillusioned
by all the lies that escaped
and drew hopes that were never made
that came from your conniving lips
one after one, blows from hits

I was blind to see what really
was behind those eyes truly
You never meant to fulfill
any of your promised wills
I was sung such sweet lullabies
deafening the silent escaping cries

I've woken up now and alone
like the birth of the unreal unborn
I know not to cry, not to sob
i wont stand still and rob
of your happiness all around
I will bury it six feet underground

You've made a grave mistake
You should've been real, not fake
There is death by fear, its true
fear fear, consequences, fear me
Walking away seemed never easier before
no looking back or stopping, not anymore
