As time slipped by and gone, all compassion went away
replaced by anger, hate, disappointment and dismay
It was fine for a while, till the real truth began to dawn on me
Your reasons weren't evil, you aren't who i thought you to be
You didn't ignore me because you were arrogant and playing
Your feelings were confusing and your girl was swaying
You talked to me because you wanted to, it was no game
because I gave you attention, cause your girl didn't do the same
You knew I cared, always did, always will till the very end
because despite all that happened, you knew I would be your friend
I became your 'go to' girl, where you sought comfort and solace
when your world came crashing down and it reeked chaos
You knew all the while that I loved you, and I'll be here
through the thick and thin, from the hazy, gray to the very clear
It was fine for a while, till the real truth began to dawn on me
Your reasons weren't evil, you aren't who i thought you to be
But I'm not going to be your forever 'go to' girl, whenever
There will come a day when I will turn around and say whatever
