Talmadge Rogalla Poems

The heart feels heavy and full of despair. It needs to be comforted after the pangs of unrequited passion. It needs to be consoled in its broken moment.

Once full of burning fire; full of raging flames, but now all that is left is a smouldering wreck. A heart that is full of sorrow; a heart that is lamenting.
...

All day it rains,
The wind is howling,
Blowing down the drains,
Blowing through the cowling.
...

Thermometer, Thermometer,
Please let me know,
The temperature of the autumn glow.
When it is dark, It goes down,
...

The first couple Adam and Eve,
God designed and made,
But to eat from the tree of good and evil,
He most certainly for them forbade.
...

Her eyes laugh and smile,
They twinkle with a glow,
I observe her for a while,
But I think she'll never know.
...

Smoke, Smoke,
Glorious Smoke,
Nothing quite like it,
For a boring bloke.
...

She reminds me of the beauty of the morn. A precious
bright glory beaming down on my half open eyes.
Smiling I breath in the fresh crisp air as the birds
twitter above the mist of the valley.
...

In days gone by,
You stood at my side,
You are my friend,
In whom I confide.
...

My dear sweet angel,
In nostalgia I confess,
Remembering your joyful ways,
In past gone happy days.
...

Never enemies, never foes,
A complete God send,
With me through Highs and lows,
You're a beautiful friend.
...

11.

The strobes pulsated,
Quickly flashing,
I was handsome,
I was dashing.
...

The morning broke,
As I cycled mile after mile,
The weather was good,
Bringing forth a pleasant smile.
...

Through the ups and downs of life,
At times we may not be well,
Do we throw in the towel?
Or chime the ending bell?
...

In the beginning of the Heavens and the Earth,
Things proved to be a desolate waste,
So the imagination of the creator gave birth,
According to his very good taste.
...

In wait for her he lay,
The snake, which tempted Eve,
In a very cunning way,
The poor woman was deceived.
...

Abel was a righteous man,
Who attended sheep,
He loved his God in all his heart,
Which made him rather sweet.
...

Lantern, Lantern on the wall,
Your light is appreciated by us all,
Flickering through the dark night,
You chase away those who fright.
...

Drink, drink,
Glorious drink,
Nothing quite like it,
To make you stink.
...

A foreign stamp in the corner,
A letter from afar,
From who could it be?
It’s from Grandpapa.
...

It was one sided,
In an unrequited form,
I was so enchanted,
And going through a storm.

Talmadge Rogalla Biography

I was born in Edmonton London in September 1968. My mother is a British Citizen, who was educated at Edmonton's Latymer Grammar School. My late father was an East Prussian German. Before I was the age of two my parents decided to move from London to Lippe in North-Rein Westphalia in Germany. I enjoyed the schools I went to and the festive Lippe people. The army depot in the town of Detmold nearby sent its troops into our village every year for NATO exercises. When I was nine my parents decided to move to a village in Devon in England, where my parents bought a small holding. I was educated at the local village school before going to the secondary school in a neighbouring village. When I left school I studied science and maths at college and later I studied science and German with the Open University. I have always enjoyed writing and studying and I had two books published. My academic interests include ciphering, inventions and research into alternative technology and exploring the vast depths of the human mind. A Broken Heart

The heart wishes to speak from morning until evening; from the setting of the sun to the sunrise, to a new day; through the moonlit shadows, where angels grasp its strings and pull.

Once there was love O so divine, but now there is the winter of despair. The heart wants to reach out like a fresh flower on a sunny spring day. O for empathy in the hour of darkness, O compassion where have you been, as I travel through the shadows of time.
