Remember when we went to the park everyday?
We'd fly kites, ride bikes, run around and play?
We'd go after school when your homework was done,
Those were the days when we had so much fun.
...

I dreamed about you again last night,
Same sad dream since I lost the fight.
I dreamed when I lost you, I got you all back,
And I couldn't have been happier to help you unpack.
...

It's the Christmas time of year,
Time for all this holiday cheer.
I'll try not to shed a tear,
Knowing you live nowhere near.
...

It's been five years now,
My tears aren't drying.
I do not know how
To stop this crying.
...

Cody, my oldest, says he loves me,
Brittani, my daughter, can count,1,2,3.
JJ, my youngest, is smart as can be,
Mommy, (that's me) , well I'm down on my knee.

Remember The Days

Remember when we went to the park everyday?
We'd fly kites, ride bikes, run around and play?
We'd go after school when your homework was done,
Those were the days when we had so much fun.

Remember when we watched movies every night before bed?
And a night time prayer would always be said?
Then we'd go to sleep as a new day begun,
Those were the days when we had so much fun.

Now I wake up each morning to see you're not here,
And I know that you are out there, somewhere,
My life is so empty now that you are all gone,
And I think back to the days when we had so much fun.
