I'M Still Crying Poem by Susan Thomas

I'M Still Crying

It's been five years now,
My tears aren't drying.
I do not know how
To stop this crying.
I gave birth to you,
But you are not mine.
I'm sorry, it's true,
Now the sun won't shine.
I'm a failed mom,
But I tried my best,
It's hard to stay calm,
With pain in my chest.
You're being cared for in ways I could not,
You're getting much more,
Now look what you got.
It's more difficult
With each passing year,
And as a result,
I shed one more tear.
My love's undying,
My daughter and sons,
But I'm still crying
For you, little ones.

For my 3 wonderful children, Cody, Brittani and JJ.
