Mommy's Cry For Help Poem by Susan Thomas

Mommy's Cry For Help

Cody, my oldest, says he loves me,
Brittani, my daughter, can count,1,2,3.
JJ, my youngest, is smart as can be,
Mommy, (that's me) , well I'm down on my knee.

'Mommy, why are you on your knee?
Is there something there we cannot see? '

No, my loved ones, my heart's tinged with fear,
I'm asking God if He'll stay with me here.
State took you away, I don't know where,
Because they thought that I don't care.

Just look at what I've done to you...
Lord, please help me, what did I do?
Cody, Brittani, ad JJ too,
I love you all deeply, I wish you just knew.

'Mommy, mommy, it will be alright.
You're in our hearts all day and night.'

I'll fight until you're back with me,
Please be patient, just wait and see.
Home with me is where you should be,
And then we'll live happily.

Such a beautifully told story of a Mother's pain and anguish over losing and missing her children. Really pulls at the heartstrings.
