Mourning Has Broken Poem by Ruby Honeytip

Mourning Has Broken

Rating: 5.0

Today is the morning,
You were not my first thought,
I still lie here motionless,
But I'm not feeling distraught.
A black cloud has lifted,
I still feel you not here,
But my pulse feels stronger
I no longer fear
A future without you
Because I will never forget
That my soul dipped inside yours
The day we met.
I have missed you
More than you know
But mourning has broken
I will begin letting go.

It's time to get up......

Sad, but maybe not. You seem to have the handle on this. Gollee, what a meaningful title, enough imagery here for the whole story
