You Remain There Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

You Remain There

Rating: 5.0

About forty years have been passed
Your memory has still not lasted
I feel lonely and orphan
You were so kind mom and woman

I feel about all women
Who have left all of sudden?
They might have left behind
Sons and daughters never to find

Tears rush out
When we talk about
That lovely creature
Who never cared about future?

Why only one soul among all?
Responded to children’s call
Day and night cared to see baby happy
Taken as bless from powerful almighty

I remember her calling
Over and again falling
On my face and kissing
I felt warmth but now it is missing

I stare at stars
They twinkle very far
I see mother’s face
All mothers have found base

I wish you all remain there
We can see any time when fear
You are there to provide us some memory
Such grace is granted to us by almighty
