You'Re Everything To Me
I was always busy
Trying to make
Ends meet
Never could I
Spend as much
Time with you
As I intended to.
You did everything
For me with
Unconditional love
And dedication
I could never
Reciprocate the way
I felt deep inside.
Things to do
Things to accomplish
Took priority over
Intentions that were hiding
I hope you understood
My plight
And excuse me
For my oversight,
My situation is
Like visiting
And seeing places
Far off from
Where we live
And not see
Worthy monuments
Near home.
Be assured that
You're everything to me
Now that I reached a point
Where I can sit quiet
And reminisce
I realize my folly
I will make it up
For all that I missed
And I rededicate
Myself to you
For the rest
Of my life.
Once we are ready to rectify our mistake and resort to a better course of action, that in itself is a noble gesture... It is after the prime years of life, we need greater companionship...! So you are resolved to give it! Enjoyed reading!
