You.. Poem by Natasha Elizabeth Beatrice Williams

You..

You and I.
Til the day we die..
We need to let sleeping dogs lie.
Anything is better than goodbye.

I waste away.
Not in weight, but in soul.
I did everything, for you to stay.
Life is just something we can not control.

Watching, waiting.
When will everyone else forget?
Would it even matter if they did?
Probably not, all we know is, this can not be reset.

Then you hurt me again.
Slash through my remaining soul so I no longer feel.
Your existence has become my life's bane.
This was not our deal....

Curse to love, too broken to breathe.
I'll drown in my sea of tears.
My newfound hatred will seethe.
I pray, your ugly head, will never re-rear.
