Without You

There are scenes I can remember
when everything I see
brings me back to places
when you were with me.

++All the nights you'd hold me
and all the words that you told me
keep me warm now, but somehow

***Without you there is no sun in the sky.
And without you there are no birds flying high.
Without you there are no stars shining bright
and without you nothing's right.

And I ask can you remember
when all I had to do
was curl up in your arms babe
and feel the likes of you.

REPEAT ++ and ***

There are moments that come
when all the things I know
are wrapped up in memories
and tied with a bow.
And I ask can you remember
how every minute flew
and time never mattered,
not to me and you.

Without you there is no sun in the sky.
And without you there are no birds flying high.
Without you there are no stars shining bright
and without you nothing's right.

    it's a lovely poem expressing the loss of the companion with whom umpteen no. of sweet memories are attached. They say man lives with memories..... I say man weeps with lost sweet memories...man bleeds with lost sweet memories.

O Love! thou makest all things even
In earth or heaven;
Finding thy way through prison-bars
Up to the stars;
Or, true to the Almighty plan,
That out of dust created man,
